I recently had the pleasure of staying at IT Beach in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations in many ways. From the moment I arrived until the day I reluctantly checked out, every aspect of my stay was marked by exceptional service, comfort, and a touch of luxury that made my vacation truly memorable.

Upon arrival at IT Beach, I was immediately struck by the stunning architecture and the modern, sleek design of the hotel. With panoramic views of the ocean, it’s the perfect place to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy a refreshing cocktail from the bar. The infinity pool creates an illusion of merging with the sea, providing an Instagram-worthy backdrop for photos. The hotel also has a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It had all the necessary equipment for a good workout, and the view from the gym made exercising much more enjoyable. Additionally, there is a spa on-site offering a variety of treatments. I treated myself to a deep tissue massage, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had – the perfect way to unwind and de-stress.
The Room
I stayed in a deluxe oceanfront room, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a minimalist aesthetic that was both calming and stylish. The king-sized bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after long days of exploring Playa Del Carmen. The highlight of the room, however, was the private balcony with a stunning view of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. It quickly became my favorite spot to enjoy my morning coffee and watch the sunrise.

The dining options at IT Beach are impressive, with several restaurants and bars to choose from. If you are booking with Playa del Carmen property management groups, ask them what they suggest for dining in the area; they should always shoot you straight ; simply because they want you to book again. We used Healthy Home and they suggested the on property dining but also a few others in the area off property. This gave us a good lineup of options for the duration of our stay. The main restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which were always fresh and expertly prepared. Breakfast was a highlight each day, with an extensive buffet offering everything from traditional Mexican dishes to continental favorites. The beachfront bar and grill was another favorite spot of mine. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a delicious meal with your toes in the sand and the sound of waves crashing in the background.
Service
One of the standout features of IT Beach is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every member of the team, from the concierge to the housekeeping staff, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always friendly, professional, and willing to assist with any request. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local attractions, or simply providing extra towels, the staff’s attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident in everything they did. I booked through Healthy Home Property Management & Expat Services which is a property management company in Playa del Carmen. The website was easy to use and navigate. I did have a couple of questions before pulling the trigger so I called them. They were very kind, attentive, and answered all of my questions. This made me much more confident in my decision.
